The contestants were awed by the monumental structure's grandeur and beauty, while also gaining deeper insights into its historical significance. Through guided tours, they learned about the Great Wall's vital role in Chinese history and culture.
"I've seen the Great Wall in movies, but being here in person is beyond thrilling," said Naima, a contestant from the Seychelles.
Xin Xin, from Iceland, shared her emotions in fluent Chinese after reaching the top: "The Great Wall, like a giant dragon winding through the mountains, is full of unique charm.
"The breathtaking scenery has left me in awe."

The group continued their cultural journey with a visit to the Summer Palace, one of China's most famous imperial gardens. As they strolled through its grounds, they experienced the harmonious blend of nature and culture, marveling at the wisdom and craftsmanship of ancient Chinese artisans.

Mo Li (Jasmine), a contestant from Australia, was so inspired by the palace's beauty that she began sketching the landscape: "I love painting and I wanted to capture the unique charm of the Summer Palace in my own way.”
At the end of the day, the contestants enthusiastically discussed their experiences, reflecting on what they had seen and the impressions they had formed. Many said they hoped to China in the future, eager to continue promoting cultural exchange and mutual understanding between China and the world.
