In celebration of China's Vocational Education Week, the Luban Workshop Construction and Experience Museum in Tianjin, East China, opened its doors to visitors from May 13 to 19. This weeklong event attracted over 2,000 visitors, while its online exhibition hall also saw significant traffic.
Since its inauguration on May 6, 2018, the museum has garnered widespread attention, significantly boosting the social recognition of the Luban Workshop both domestically and internationally. To date, the museum has welcomed over 70,000 visitors.
In October 2020, the museum launched an online exhibition hall, developed through collaboration between schools and enterprises. This virtual space uses VR real-scene shooting technology to provide comprehensive, detailed images of the physical museum.
The virtual tour is enriched with modules, illustrations, background music, bilingual explanations in Chinese and English and interactive features such as a "satisfaction survey" to enhance user engagement.
A highlight of Vocational Education Week was the opportunity for visitors to use VR glasses to experience the Egyptian Luban Workshop in Cairo. This new immersive program offers a panoramic view, allowing users to virtually explore the workshop.
The Luban Workshop Construction and Experience Museum continues to innovate and expand its reach, playing a crucial role in displaying the fruits of vocational education and international cultural exchange.
