The 21st China · Tianjin Huangyaguan Great Wall International Marathon Tourism Event gets started in Tianjin's Jizhou district.
On May 18, the 21st China · Tianjin Huangyaguan Great Wall International Marathon Tourism Event took place in Tianjin's Jizhou district, with over 3,000 marathon enthusiasts from more than 20 countries and regions taking part in the event.

This marathon was organized by the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and the People's Government of Tianjin's Jizhou District. Since its inception in 1999, the event has been successfully held 20 times, with its international influence continuously expanding. It has become an important event recognized by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races, as well as a crucial cultural tourism brand of Tianjin.

This international marathon event includes a full marathon (42.195 kilometers), a half marathon (21.0975 kilometers) and a short-distance marathon (8.5 kilometers). Participants can experience not only the excitement and intensity of the race, but also enjoy the magnificent ancient city walls and natural sites of Jizhou district.

After intense competition, Mark Dickson from the United Kingdom won the full marathon crown with the outstanding time of 3 hours, 43 minutes, and 32 seconds. Roman Diez Gea, from Spain, and Hugo Zanoni Bastos De Siqueira, from Brazil, respectively took first place in the half marathon and mini marathon.
