Mar 22, 2023, marked the 31st World Water Day and Mar 22-28 the 36th China Water Week. Taking this opportunity, the Ninghe Water Affairs Bureau has carried out a series of promotional activities to raise people's awareness of saving water.

During China Water Week, the Ninghe Water Affairs Bureau went to villages in Qilihai town to learn the current situation of tap water supply in the rural area.

Additionally, a team from the Ninghe Water Affairs Bureau visited Vontron Technology Co., Ltd. to inspect wastewater treatment operations and on-site management, promoting the company to further improve its reclaimed water treatment process in a bid to improve the water environment of the region.

"Going forward, we will continue to investigate the water utilization and agricultural efficient irrigation status of Ninghe district, in a bid to improve water security and promote water conservation," said Zhang Jinlei, head of the Water Resources Management Section of the Ninghe Water Affairs Bureau.
