Yang Hui, member of the 14th CPPCC National Committee and head of the Accumulus (Tianjin) Sharing Economy Information Consulting Company, submitted four proposals at the "two sessions" this year.
As a post-85 Chinese private entrepreneur, his proposals are related to the well-being of people's livelihoods and serving high-quality employment.
Yang said: "With the vigorous development of new forms of employment and more diversified business scenarios, we need to further explore and update supportive tools in some fields.”
According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, China's flexible employment has grown notably in recent years. That means that platform companies in the digital economy play an increasingly important role in job creation and entrepreneurship, demonstrating the dynamism and resilience of China's economy.
Yang led his team into the flexible employment service track in the digital economy and established Accumulus in Tianjin Binhai Hi-Tech Industrial Development Area in August 2016.
Over the past six years, Accumulus has served more than 79 million workers in new forms of employment, with the number of people being served increasing by more than one million per month for 23 consecutive months.
In 2022, Accumulus achieved revenue of 97.4 billion yuan($13.97 billion) and a tax payment of 6.2 billion yuan, up 85 percent and 86 percent respectively year-on-year.
