During the Chinese New Year holiday, Huangyaguan Great Wall scenic area launched its first folk culture themed park project, bringing an immersive folk culture feast for tourists.

Based on the magnificent view of Huangyaguan Great Wall, the project has folk acrobatics, stilts, traditional martial arts, and other immersive performances, and shows visitors intangible cultural heritage folk skills, such as sugar painting, willow weaving, and hawthorn cakes. The themed project has played a positive role in promoting the traditional culture of Jizhou district, enhancing the connotations of Jizhou's cultural brand, and promoting the integration of local cultural tourism and the development of tourism in Tianjin.

The folk culture themed park project will last 17 days from Jan 21 to Feb 6, 2023.
