Lying at the junction of Beijing and Tianjin and east of Beijing Daxing International Airport Tianjin's Wuqing is an important node on the Beijing-Tianjin development axis.

It has achieved good initial results in promoting research on the Regional Development Strategy 2035, in undertaking Beijing's non-capital functions and promoting the integration of cross-regional transportation.

It has deepened integration with Beijing's Tongzhou District and Hebei province's Langfang city in the fields of industry, employment, education, medical care, environmental protection and transportation.

The district has accelerated development of a number of incubators, and made progress in their transformation and industrialization.

It has advanced the transformation and upgrading of industrial structures, strengthened the real economyand promoted the cluster development of high-end industries.

Efforts have been made in the following five areas:

* Building a high-end R&D design platform. It is committed to establishing top R&D institutions, innovation teams and leading professionals in the local and international industries -- and the construction of new-type collaborative innovation research institutes.

* Building pilot test platforms. It has been supporting leading enterprises in the district to develop platforms, provide professional public technical services and share experimental instruments and equipment with university research institutions.

* Building a manufacturing platform for common use. It has attracted many domestic and foreign leading high-end manufacturing enterprises, integrated high-quality enterprise resources in the district and built a manufacturing platform for common use and a production services platform.

It has expanded the universality of industrialized production line manufacturing, providing shared production services for companies and promoted the scale production of  innovative tech products.

* Creating a marketing platform. It has promoted the deep integration of big data, cloud computing, the internet of things and the real economy.

* Building an investment and financing service platform. Focusing on the investment and financing needs of companies, it has established funds to provide financial support and guarantees for the incubation and growth of enterprises.

* By creating the five innovation platforms, Wuqing will build a complete chain -- from R&D, incubation, and transformation to large-scale industrialization -- meeting the needs of companies at all stages of development.

At the same time, the district will continue to improve its administrative services and intellectual property protection, creating better conditions to attract more  high-quality projects as well as top professionals and experts.
