"Laomeihua production artistry of Chinese-style for men" and "Laomeihua production artistry of cheongsam by Tianjin School" have been selected into the list of Tianjin's Intangible Cultural Heritage. 

Laomeihua has established its own clothing R & D department to develop traditional styles of clothing on one hand and new models to meet the needs of modern middle-aged and elderly people on the other. Liu Yanru, assistant to clothing manager says, "In the development of clothing, we've oriented towards 'deep understanding of the human body and keeping up with fashion'. For the former, it means to develop loose clothing suitable for the elderly people with big hipbones and breasts, based on their special body structure; for the latter, we try to make clothing more beautiful and comfortable, because the middle-aged and elderly people also have a thirst for beauty."
